1. About Directory Bear

Directory Bear is a web directory that indexes, categorizes, and ranks websites using our proprietary Bear Rank (BR) algorithm. We offer free and premium listing options for website owners.

2. Free Listings

Anyone may submit a website for inclusion in our directory at no cost. Free listings are reviewed manually and may take up to 1–2 weeks to be approved. Free listings include a no-follow link to the submitted website. We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission at our sole discretion.

3. Premium Listings

We offer two premium listing tiers, each a one-time purchase:

Verified Listing ($20 USD): Includes a do-follow link, a verified badge on your profile, and priority review within 24–48 hours.

Highlight Listing ($50 USD): Includes everything in the Verified tier, plus a highlighted card design and above-the-fold placement in your chosen category.

Premium listing fees are non-refundable once the listing has been published. If your submission is rejected, you will receive a full refund.

4. Acceptable Content

Directory Bear is a family-friendly directory. We do not accept submissions for websites that contain adult or sexually explicit content, promote illegal activities, contain malware or deceptive practices, promote gambling or online casinos, engage in hate speech or discrimination, or are otherwise inappropriate for a general audience. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these guidelines at any time, without refund for premium listings.

5. Bear Rank (BR)

Bear Rank scores are calculated using our proprietary algorithm and are provided for informational purposes only. Scores may change over time as our data sources update. We do not guarantee any specific score and purchasing a premium listing does not influence your Bear Rank score.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on dirbear.com is the property of Directory Bear. Website listings contain information that is publicly available about the listed domains. If you believe any content infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@dirbear.com.

7. Limitation of Liability

Directory Bear is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any listed website. Our total liability for any claim related to our service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
